ERSA undertakes a wide range of activities in support of the agritourism (farmstay and farm hospitality) sector, including:

• technical assistance and consultancy for agritourism operators holding the appropriate authorisation to undertake agritourism activities;

• technical assistance to those intending to start an agritourism enterprise;

• liaison with municipalities in managing municipal authorisations for agritourism enteprises;

• maintaining the database of agritourism operators in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region;

•  co-ordinating agritourismo-related signage;

•  presentation, promotion and information on the region’s agritourism resources;

•  creation and promotion of agritourism-related trails, including monuments of the region’s rural culture;

•  professional training for agritourism operators;

•  watchdog activities through inspections and on-site checks at agritourism farms to ascertain compliance with the requirements of Regional Law 25/96 and its implementation regulations.
